This video demonstrates the use of the CellScale MechanoCulture TR (MCTR) system to apply hydrostatic pressure stimulation to cell cultures.

While the MechanoCulture TR is commonly used for uniaxial compression stimulation, it can also be configured to provide uniform hydrostatic pressure by operating the system without compression shuttles. The demonstration shows specimen loading, membrane separation of the sterile culture area, and execution of a cyclic hydrostatic pressure protocol.

Hydrostatic stimulation is often used to study mechanobiological responses in three-dimensional tissue constructs and cell cultures.
