MechanoCulture J1 Mechanical Stimulation System Introduction

Tutorials & Demonstrations
Quick Overview:
Introduction and demonstration of the MechanoCulture J1 system for parallel mechanical stimulation of living tissue constructs.

This video introduces the CellScale MechanoCulture J1, a mechanical stimulation system designed for living tissue constructs.

The MechanoCulture J1 features six independently controlled uniaxial actuators, each with its own load cell, enabling parallel mechanical stimulation and measurement of multiple tissue samples. The system is designed to operate inside an incubator, allowing researchers to apply controlled loading protocols while monitoring changes in tissue stiffness and strength over time.

The demonstration walks through system assembly, specimen loading, chamber filling, and execution of a pre-programmed mechanical stimulation protocol.
